Basically, Craven was doing something despicable on the set of Nightmare on Elm Street and actor Craig Wasson stopped him by punching him. Wasson's career was subsequently crushed by Hollywood execs who even staged an accident to try to shut him up, but eventually agreed to pay him hush money to keep quiet about Craven.

These blind items are just hearsay, have any of these ever been proven? If any of this was true who's stopping Wasson? Certainly not Craven. R.I.P.
