Why does he keep snubbing Tarantino?

He was offered the role of Bill in the Kill Bill movies, which he declined. He also blew off a good part in Django Unchained. What is the problem? Does he hate QT or something?

He doesn't.

It's just never worked out schedule-wise for him.

When he was offered Kill Bill he was working on Open Range and when he was cast in Django Unchained he was working on Hatfields & McCoys. He even said so in an interview.

I think it's worked out pretty well for both guys at the end of the day, though.

You don't turn down QT, though. Never a smart move.

reply

OH please!!! Open Range got praises galore and Hatfields & McCoys got him an Emmy Award. Kevin never will need Tarantino!

reply

Dream on.

It's never really worked out schedule-wise. That's really all there is to it.

Hopefully, they'll get to collaborate on something in the near future :)

reply

If I was told my career would end if I didn't participate in a QT movie, I still wouldn't do it. His films are gross

reply

Tarantino is a *beep* hack.

reply

What part was he offered in Django? The one that eventually went to Don Johnson?

I think I'll have a large order of prognosis negative.
