shareFarewell Big Tam
Not only the best James Bond but a star of so many great and memorable films, the word 'legend' is often used far too easily but that's not the case with Sir Sean Connery, not by a long way!
RIP Legend

i remember reading around the time of Last Crusade Spielberg said in an interview Sean was one of 7 living legends of cinema left (back then i guess he meant the others being the genuine real deal likes of Paul Newman, Brando, Charlton Heston etc) .. i guess now the last genuine bone fide living hollywood legend is Clint and maybe Redford. and probably Harrison Ford as he would be considered in the same league now. and maybe De Niro, Pacino, also Stallone and Arnold..and maybe Travolta .. but they really belong to a latter 'legendary' status of the 70s/80s.. whereas Sean and Clint are of the decade/generation earlier which was still of that golden era of Hollywood
shareYeah, all iconic in their own way!

shareR.I.P. to a true legend!
I was never a huge Bond fan, but I’ll definitely be watching “The Rock”, “The Untouchables”, and “Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade” at some point soon.
Here’s a link to a little lesson we can all learn from one of the last true Hollywood bad asses:

Man, this is why I hate coming to this site and then see the trending profile pic of some older actor...
I saw an interview with him maybe a decade ago and he seemed very frail then so it's good that he got an extra decade in the sun...
i know .. a while back there was a guy who would constantly post on older actors pages and your heart would skip a beat when you saw them trending only to find the guy was posting 'Top 3 roles' ..(i myself did one on Connerys page a few months back as a send up of that guy as he was doing it literally all the time for all the at risk older actors)
