shareOf course he's fair game for criticism but Hail Caesar is (a) not a Clooney film and (b) far from a bomb.
Try, if you can - although I can see from your posts that it will be challenging for you - to confine your criticism to actual Clooney bombs (eg. Tomorrowland. Monuments Men), rather than pouncing on, as evidence, random films that he happens to have a small role in but whose presence in that film has zero bearing on the eventual success or failure of that film.
