shareI wouldn't necessarily call him a "racist". A hypocritical POS is what he is.
Just read this earlier today.
Actors George Clooney and David Oyelowo also also voiced their frustration. Clooney accused the entire industry of moving in "the wrong direction."
"I don't think it's a problem of who you're picking as much as it is: How many options are available to minorities in film, particularly in quality films?" Clooney said in a statement to Variety."We need to get better at this."
"For 20 opportunities to celebrate actors of color, actresses of color, to be missed last year is one thing; for that to happen again this year is unforgivable," Oyelowo said at a gala honoring Academy president Cheryl Boone Isaacs Monday.

The "problem" is how many options are available to minorities in film? Oh really, Mr Clooney. How many "minorities" have you cast in any ONE of your films, huh?
Were there any Blacks, Hispanics or Asians in any of your films? How about:
Directed by George Clooney:
"Confessions of a Dangerous Mind"?
Stars Drew Barrymore, Julia Roberts, Sam Rockwell and Mr. George "We need more minorities in film" Clooney. Also starring, Michael Cera and Maggie Gyllenhaal. All WHITE ACTORS/ACTRESSES.
Moving on...How about:
"Good Night, and Good Luck"
Stars David Strathiirn, Patricia Clarkson, Jeff Daniels, Robert Downey Jr, Frank Langelia and of course, Mr. George "We need more minorities in film" Clooney. ALL WHITE ACTORS/ACTRESSES.
"Monuments Men"
Stars Matt Damon, Bill Murray, Cate Blanchett, John Goodman, Hugh Bonneville and of course, Mr. George "We need more minorities in film" Clooney. ALL WHITE ACTORS/ACTRESSES.
"Idles Of March"
Stars Ryan Gosling, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Paul Giamatti, Evan Rachel Wood, Marisa Tomei and the "token black guy", Jeffrey Wright AND of course, Mr. George "We need more minorities in film" Clooney.
Need something more recent? How about his new film currently in production -
"Suburbicon" - Stars: Matt Damon, Josh Brolin and Julianne Moore. Where TF is the diversity?

Dear Mr. Clooney,
Please, for the love of God, stop speaking out about current controversies. You are not one to point any fingers and pretend you are the "minorities" best friend. You claim "outrage" to appease your "minority" friends but have failed miserably at practicing what you preach. ONE out of your FIVE movies, you have personally directed, cast ONE African American.
Please be quiet. No one wants to hear your hypocrisy and double standards. You think Hollywood needs more "diversity", make your movies more diversified. Please stop advocating for "diversity" in films and expect others to do as you say. The "We" means YOU as well. Lead by example. Otherwise, please shut the *beep* up and stop making the same damn movie (Oceans) over, and over and over and over again.
Get some new material, Jack ass.
Did she have a starring role? Top Billing next to Mr Clooney?
No offense but you've misread what he said. He clearly included himself in the equation when he said: "we're moving in the wrong direction." "We're" means himself included.
You quoted him as saying: "We need to get better at this." This means he's also including himself as not taking responsibility in hiring minorities either.
So how is he a POS hypocrite if he's also holding himself responsible?

Easy, until Clooney starts turning down roles so a minority can have his part he is a hypocrite. Clooney only wants diversity as long as it affects other white guys. Some hero.

Clooney doesn't need to turn down a role. He's in a position of power. He has his own production company. He has enough clout to hire and/or cast "diverse" talent or he could produce a movie with an entire cast of "people of color".
No actor or actress has ever turned down a role so another actor can get the part. That's not how Hollywood works.

What does this even mean?

--------And yet he doesn't. He casts mainly especially in lead roles Caucasian over and over again as well as his handlers as well as many in the industry are racist and bigoted and he is too cowardly to stand up to them. Henceforth is why he married the dingbat he did and not an American woman of color. This is not a secret...........
By the way, who cares really? Karma takes care of it all.....

-----Methinks you know EXACTLY what this means.
