How come IMDB changes the countries people were born. I know sometimes the heights are right but how could they tolerate switching nationalities.

Some people are american citizens but they weren't born in the States.

I don't recall Tia Carrere was born in Hawai,

it's spelled Phillipines, but I don't know where she was born

The newspapers in Hawaii claimed that she was born in Honolulu (Hawaii).

according to her in her interview on the "supernova" dvd....she is from hawaii
