Is he a Freemason in real life since he plays one in the National Treasure movies and does and says things in the movies that only Freemasons should know or would be allowed to say/do?

If he says things that only Freemasons should know, how would anyone know if they're Freemason things unless they themselves were Freemason?

In modern times, Freemasonry does not keep things as secret as they used to. You can ask someone if they are a mason and they'll tell you. Used to be they couldn't.
I'm not and I was even given a tour of a Masonic Lodge. As late as the 1890's they would keep them locked to everyone else.
