The only thing that lowers my level of anticipation is that it will be produced by CBS TV Studios... where is this project going to be, regular network TV? Doesn't seem like the right fit for the crazy content that was featured on Netflix's Documentary Series... hopefully this project will end up somewhere uncensored.
That DOES seem very strange. I noticed that as well. Don't give us any watered down shit. If Nicky Cage is going to play the Tiger King, then it needs to be insane.
My hope is that they might produce it with the intention of selling it to Netflix or Prime or Hulu, but that doesn't seem likely. I've seen others speculate that it will probably go to CBS All Access, where they have a little more leeway in terms of content. If that's the case though, that still seems like it'll probably be pretty PG-13.
Just hand him an emmy now.
