Is he done raping Shakespeare?
Using Shakespeare to make up for his *beep* movies.

shareGet thee hence, troll, and take no trouble to return.
Ken Branagh has made amazing Shakespeare films (Hamlet, Much Ado, Henry V) and he also shows his talent with other films (Dead Again, Peter's Friends, Sleuth). Sure, he's fucged up before (Love Labour's Lost) but hasn't anyone?
Thanks to ye, Bob Stage!
You are correct. Branagh does his heartfelt best each time.
Like it or leave it, a quality effort every time.

Be hence with him!
His Shakespeare roles are his best work! He has portrayed every role beautifully, much better than many actors could this day n age.
.']['.
He's good till he hits a soliloquy. "To be, or not to be" in particular.
shareI don't hear anything wrong with his 'to be or not to be'. I do sometimes wish they had produced the edited edition of "Hamlet" that had been talked about, but I do generally like that version very much.
I just saw his "Henry V" again the other day. I really love that version.
His version has no emotion, and the entire way he says it shows that he seemingly has no idea what the character of Hamlet is talking about at that moment. He rushes through it.
shareI disagree.
