I've found conflicting info on the subject. maybe someone who has met her or someone who might know her knows.

Is it like Bay-seen-jur?

or Bay-singer, like the word "singer"?

Just watching The Simpsons episode (When you dish upon a star) where Homer drops in on her (playing herself) and calls her Bass-singe-er and she corrects him and it sounds like she said it's pronounced Bay-singer.
