Any idea of his future film endeavours?
Rowan Atkinson went through a period in the early noughties where he appeared in numerous films, normally just in supporting roles, but, ever since "Mr Bean's Holiday", he seems to prefer to keep his distance from the silver screen (save for the mediocre "Johnny English Reborn"). Does anyone know of any plans he might have mentioned in interviews with regards to future big-screen projects? I feel it's a shame that he doesn't explore new cinematic grounds, such is his comedic ability. He appears to be doing this on the stage, and kudos to him for that, but I have always wanted to see him take on an unusual comedic role in a film, as he has shown, through the vast characteristic difference between his two most famous characters, Mr Bean and Blackadder, that the scope of his potential is very impressive.
In light of this, what sort of roles would you all like to see Atkinson in?
"You son of a motherless goat!"
