Patricia Arquette made a fool of herself at the Oscars
She won for her portrayal of Olivia in Boyhood. That was an honor bestowed on her by The Academy. She had stiff competition in that catagory this year. Why didn't she thank the Academy, thank Richard Linklater, thank all the cast and crew, acknowledge her fellow nominees, and thank her family.
Instead, she goes off on a rant about things she knows nothing about. Someone told her to be upset by something and she did. If she had looked into the matter she "advocates", she would have known that their is nothing there. It isn't an issue.
What a fool. Actresses need scripts, lines, directors. Thinking and reasoning on their own? not so much.
