It was inappropriate and unwarranted and I don't care about her heart. It is no more 'special', than those that are grossly underpaid than her. She is a stupid twerp and my sentiments to the OP. I was happy for her too, until her rant. If she doesn't care, then that is her problem and she is nothing but a self-serving narcissist.

What do you mean I can't give up or vilify someone because of one thing they say? Guess it's never happened in Hollywood before Mel Gibson, Jim Carrey being recent examples of talents who've stuck foot in mouth and have not recovered.

Another poster also mentioned, SHE WROTE IT DOWN. It wasn't in the heat of the moment. She had it planned. Even her thanks was generic. Look at Eddie Redmayne or Julianne Moore. Those were genuine. Patricia Arquette had a plan to push her cause on the entire world, despite the fact that NOBODY wanted to hear it.

People will argue the reaction from Oprah and Jennifer Lopez, but they are in fact two of the richest woman on earth. With Oprah having enough money to buy a moon somewhere.

I'm glad she doesn't care, as her pay has been ample enough to sustain the inevitable collapse of her income and demand. I'm very disappointed in her, but again she doesn't care. So no worries. My outrage is genuine, and so is the outrage from millions of her former fans.
