And then there is Viceroy's House which Gillian is about to film (in India) playing Edwina Mountbatten.
The preview of the film says:
In 1947, Lord Mountbatten assumes the post of last Viceroy, charged with handing India back to its people, living upstairs at the house which was the home of British rulers, whilst 500 Hindu, Muslim and Sikh servants lived downstairs.
That looks like a very busy house.

I listed that one already above, it's why I came up with this in the first place. When I read the title "Viceroy's House", I thought: Hang on, hasn't Gillian been in enough houses already?
But thanks for the info, it sounds good and will certainly be a great film (and hopefully as great as House of Mirth and Bleak House).
