Marion: Was he a homosexual?

I bet he was a closet case.

Those rabid ''right wing'' types always are.

reply

Yes, the name he was given when he was an infant and had no knowledge of or control over anything made him gay, like all conservatives. You are a genius.

reply

Lol, his name is Marion so he's gay!

reply

That's also Suge Knight's real name. Don't think he's gay, dude.

reply

It's called sarcasm.

reply

My fault!

reply

Okay. And I've run into this OP the Hybrid human and cockroach before. The idea that a feminine name would have anything to with teh ghey is just ludicrous to begin with.

The only proof we have that John Wayne was gay is from the "Repo Man" line "John Wayne was a fag". I'm not sure that would stand up in court.

Uhhhhhhh, Okie doke. Kyle Rittenhouse was a stand-up kid, though. All he did was try to protect community people and property. Then after doing his civic duty and putting out a fire, he got chased and jumped by like 50 rioting, burning, looting maniacs and criminals, and he did what he had to do to stay alive while he frantically ran towards the cops to escape his own murder.

reply

Wrong thread. If Rittenhouse had stayed on private property there would be no problem. But he went out on a public street. He panicked and killed people. A trained professional would not have killed anybody. He was in over his head. This is why I don't want high school kids traipsing around with loaded rifles. It's a recipe for disaster as we have seen. No cop would kill someone for lighting a trash can on fire.

reply

I apologize. I realize it's the wrong thread. I mostly lurk on this site and don't post much, but I've been reading your Rittenhouse threads recently, so when I realized that it was you, I couldn't help but chime in a little on the subject.
Rittenhouse was on private property, until the mob lit a dumpster on fire and shoved that rolling, flaming dumpster towards the little car dealership he was trying to protect. He only went out on a public street to put the fire out!
That's it. Thats why.
Then the mob got pissed at him for putting it out, and started threatening and chasing him. Eventually they started surrounding and assaulting him. He continued to retreat and run towards cops, but yes, he panicked when they actually started to hit, kick, throw shit, and aim guns at him.
I agree that a trained professional wouldn't have killed anybody under normal circumstances with backup, but these weren't normal circumstances, and a cop in the exact same situation with no backup likely would have done the exact same thing, to protect himself.
He was definitely in over his head, but that doesn't mean he was in the wrong. If anything, that makes him even braver for being there in the first place, to try and defend the community.
Look, NOBODY wants high-school kids patrolling the streets with rifles, but the actual professionals, the cops, were forced to stand down due to the cause of the protests/riots. Again, these were NOT normal circumstances.
And no, no cop would kill someone for lighting a dumpster on fire, and that's not why Kyle killed anyone either. That's just the reason he was targeted by the mob, and was eventually forced to defend himself lethally.

reply

He was named after his grandfather.

reply

so then his grandfather was gay, goddamnit!

reply

LOL!

Some names that are now women's names used to be masculine. Stacy and Ashley come to mind.

Ahh, the go-to insult of the MovieChat leftist. I have to start keeping a list of the number of so-called liberals on this site who preach “live and let live” when it comes to sex preferences but when they really want to ridicule someone, they go right to accusations of concealed homosexuality.

reply

Wow. Did your father refuse to fuck you?

Wikipedia says that Marion is a unisex name. It's a female given name in French and a masculine given name in Latin.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marion_(given_name)

Did you know that also Carol, Kelly, Frankie, Kyle, Evelyn, Paige, Lindsay and Mandy are considered unisex names? Shelly is also on the list ("don't call me Shelly"). Most of these names on the list seem to be used for women though.
