shareI’ve been here since the inauguration of MC, and my take is that there are very few people here who are cool enough to enjoy Francis Albert, and even fewer who know who the hell he is. That’s right: present tense, IS. I design custom high-end consumer audio systems, and The Chairman is one of my go-to artists for demonstrating systems to clients. Years ago, one of my colleagues asked why I did. The square said, “Frank Sinatra is dead.” I shouted, “Frank Sinatra is IMMORTAL.” Interesting fact: Cole Porter HATED Old Blue Eyes, because Frank would alter Porter’s lyrics. A more interesting fact: The only reason why anyone knows who Cole Porter is: Frank Sinatra.
