He wanted to lose his looks

Many of my late family members really admired his talent. I had no idea he was involved with skater Sonja Henie and Lana Turner. Many fans, his late second wife, and friends have all stated his despair over being gifted with good looks. He felt it crippled his chances to expand his career beyond " Pretty boy" roles in sappy plots. For different reasons Elvis felt the same way.

I understand Tyrone wanting challenges in his career, that's how you stay in game, then and now. However, that is sad, considering for every good looking guy that complains, there is an unattractive guy wishing he had looks like that. Unfortunately, TP did get his wish in a way, he did age badly,but looks are superficial and fade with time anyway. He still remained a decent,nice guy. Too bad he didn't wish to take better care of his health. He might have lived to see his kids grow up.
