Being a woman has its privileges and drawbacks
When you're a woman, you can cross-dress without it being an issue. It never used to be like that - a hundred-plus years ago, women wore dresses and dresses only. Therefore, it's a privilege that women have over men because the latter can't dress in a dress without it being an issue.
However, the drawback to being a woman is that you have to sell in order to compete in the marketplace. Your competitors are women. You are constantly trying to outdo each other in looks and clothing - that's why there are these huge fashion and cosmetic industries for women. It's industrial scale-sized competition.
Men compete with each other too but it's far more confined and ceremonialized in the form of sports games etc. It's also more functional. When women compete with each other, it's a constant, pervasive thing akin to an addiction which continues even when there's no longer a need to sell.
