Being a woman has its privileges and drawbacks

When you're a woman, you can cross-dress without it being an issue. It never used to be like that - a hundred-plus years ago, women wore dresses and dresses only. Therefore, it's a privilege that women have over men because the latter can't dress in a dress without it being an issue.

However, the drawback to being a woman is that you have to sell in order to compete in the marketplace. Your competitors are women. You are constantly trying to outdo each other in looks and clothing - that's why there are these huge fashion and cosmetic industries for women. It's industrial scale-sized competition.

Men compete with each other too but it's far more confined and ceremonialized in the form of sports games etc. It's also more functional. When women compete with each other, it's a constant, pervasive thing akin to an addiction which continues even when there's no longer a need to sell.

no, most women aren't in constant competition. most women love and support each other.

That's a nice sentiment but I think reality begs to differ

The biggest bullies are men.

As a fellow female I absolutely disagree. Women can be the most vicious and vile human beings on the planet. I know, I've been on the receiving end. I don't believe one sex is better or worse than the other. There's equal repulsive behaviour in all human beings. I have girlfriends that are the most beautiful, supportive people I could hope for but they don't represent all of the female species and I suppose that's why they're my friends.

Oh, please, you're really pushing it, sweetheart. The biggest bullies of women are women. Women use their looks to compete against other women. They do it willingly. They back-bite each other. I've even had women admit to me that women are the worst when it comes to back-biting.

Women are in a constant competitive spiral with other women - don't deny it. Women are the biggest misogynists.
