___Trash, all of it.
___Tommy: Unusual film and concept. The Marilyn Church also dispenses pills and alcohol while flashing her face on screen. It isn't dignified, but they never allowed Marilyn dignity. When I first saw this film I was not impressed of her tragedy, but of her iconic greatness. Having Ann-Margaret was a plus. Not only was she on The Misfits set watching Marilyn work, Marilyn's stand-in later did the same for Ann. Marilyn's hairdresser George Masters later did Ann's hair.
___I don't recall Lana Turner ever plaing Diane Barrymore, but Dorothy Malone did.
___The Sex Symbol: This one changed timelines around and was very skittish about the story, even Connie Stevens would not admit it was about Monroe, though it was so obvious.
___Goodbye Norma Jean: Awful, Awful, Awful! However Misty Rowe did bear a run down resemblance to Monroe.
___This years blonde and Insignifigance: Better left insaid.
___Marilyn has always been exploited, ao to make a fast buck, she was/is usually a good target, but they have never told her real story.
___The Goddess and Marilyn, The Untold Story are the best. If you could morph these two together you might have a decent bio. I would have loved Marilyn in The Goddess, but it probably would have been too traumatic, aside from the fact that Arthur Miller advised her too not even consider it. She was more interested during the time having a baby. The Goddess was filmed very cheaply though it isn't that apparent.
