Berniece Baker Miracle in old age

This is a picture of Marilyn's half sister, Berniece Baker Miracle. When they were younger, they really didn't look all that much alike. Marilyn was definitely the prettier sister (though Berniece was by no means ugly!) But I wonder....as sisters age, they often times begin to look a lot alike. They have the same genes (at least half of them in this case), so they age in a similar manner. I'm sure you all have seen those photo-shop jobs that try to show how Marilyn would have looked, had she lived and aged, and most of them are AWFUL. This picture of Berniece might be a more accurate possibility. In any case, Berniece is a very elegant, attractive older lady!

Makeup was Marilyn's best friend I saw the pics with her without it..she's just like everyone else.

Well, I don't think she had any singular spectacular features, like some other stars did.. She didn't have gorgeous eyes like Elizabeth Taylor, distinctive mouth like Brigitte Bardot etc.

She was a pretty girl with proportionate features that fit her face well. She had a "baby face" with wide spaced eyes, smallish nose, wide forehead, and full mouth. You're right, makeup (and hair color and styling) made a big difference in her. Without the makeup and hair she was cute and pretty. With the works she was a knock out, more ravishing than most.

___It was the proportions of her face that made all the difference. I've always noticed that when she is next to any other woman. She simply stands out in clarity and makes almost any orher female homely by comparison. She was akways a cut above, face and figure. Without those foundations no amount of makeup would have made her the dazzling Marilyn who hooked you as soon as she appeared on screen, or in a photo you can't stop looking at.
