shareDo you know who she is? You seem to have to check this site to be sure based on what you wrote. Either way I don't know every actor wether they won an oscar or not. Many actors I don't know but I watch all kinds of movies from all years and get to know more as I go along.

My point was that people dismiss an actor's accolades based on the fact that they have never heard of them. If you just check an actor's profile here, you will probably find that you have in fact heard of them.
Funny enough I have seen 3 movies that she has been in. So yeah I get what you are saying, sometimes you will watch a movie with the person in and not know the name.
