Sid Luft Memoirs

Apparently, Sid Luft's unfinished, unpublished "memoirs" of his years with Judy is being
released. While Luft was a fascinating figure in Garland's life, we have to always question
contributions to bios. Yet many of his memories that were captured in Gerold Frank's
are among the most intriguing. Certainly he knew her more than just about anyone.

In any case, my days of purchasing Garland books are long gone. I simply wouldn't bother.
But apparently, Joe Luft, now 61, is behind the publishing. Money anyone? Certainly Sid
can't profit any longer. Wonder how Lorna feels about this. As for Liza, she doesn't even
know what day of the week it is anymore.

Thoughts?

My days of purchasing Garland books are also over.

I don't think I have any interest in anything Sid had to say. While he did many good thing for Judy, he also cashed in as much as possible -- while he tried to make himself look good.

Why should his "memoirs" be any different? Same old, same old..... Sid always made me feel like I needed a shower.....
