Brando or Nicholson?

Clearly two of the greatest actors ever but who was better?

Brando varied his performances there are worlds between the characters he plays in On The Waterfront (1954), The Godfather (1972), The Missouri Breaks (1976) and Apocalypse Now (1979)

You cant believe it is the same actor, Nicholson i always see Nicholson as he has a persona, like in Batman (1989) it is Jack Nicholson playing The Joker, not much different to Jack Torrance in The Shining (1980)

Brando. Not that Nicholson is any slouch

Nicholson...Brando always appeared drunk on himself....

Brando hands down. That being said, there are certain roles Jack has done that were just remarkable. The Shining and As Good As It Gets come to mind. Nicholson is definitely in my top 10. I think Brando brought more to his performances and you couldn't tell he was acting.
