Was NOT even Italian.

Crazy he's got no Italian blood in him.

reply

He was an honorary Italian.

reply

I wish there was some way they could do a dna test on him and determine his origin because he was the most olive skinned Dutchman/Irishman I've ever seen.

No! That's not true at all, Elvis takes 50% of everything I earn!Col. Tom Parker

reply

Really? He skin was normal white, on top of his hair being brown and his eyes being blue. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2015/10/18/15/2D88CBCF00000578-3278039-image-a-2_1445179183583.jpg The reason people think he's Italian is 1) because obviously he played one in The Godfather and 2) the black-and-white effect in Streetcar and Waterfront made him look darker than he actually is.

Now Caitlin Stasey is someone who is unusually olive for a Northern European.

edit- To be honest, he looked better in black-and-white.

reply

It's not that crazy. Streetcar being shot in black-and-white just made him look a bit different from what he actually looked like.

Brando comes from Brandau, which was German. So he wasn't of Italian ancestry. So what?

reply

I know. It's as if he was pretending, almost like he was an actor, or something.

reply

Wow, been watching him for over 30 years and had no idea that he had no Italian ancestry whatsoever until today. How embarrassing! I assumed he was Italian because his last name ended in an "O" and at the peak of his youth and handsomeness, he had the look of an Ancient Roman statue (the Roman nose, chiseled brow, etc.).

reply

Same here, always thought he was Italian until a minute before I typed this. I think he may have been a tool but still did a fabulous job in The Godfather. Hard to imagine it being as good with someone else.
