My personal fave is NOTORIOUS;)!

She's positively luminous in this role and she has SIZZLIN' chemistry, opposite, Cary Grant. Honestly, she's the only Hitchcock actress to give his edgy work a special elegant "human" touch.

Also love her performances in GASLIGHT, AUTUMN SONATA (she's really superb here), INDISCREET, THE BELLS OF ST. MARYS, ANASTASIA, ELENA AND HER MEN, MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS & A WOMAN CALLED GOLDA (I really want to see more of her television performances).

Lately, Im enjoying her performances in CACTUS FLOWER & THE VISIT (love the steamy youtube of her and Anthony Quinn rolling around). lol!

What about Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde? I, in my opinion, loved her performance in that picture.

Not counting Casablanca? Definitely Notorious. A few good watches include Intermezzo, Gaslight, Spellbound, The Bells of Saint Mary's, Indiscreet, Cactus Flower and Autumn Sonata. I've also heard that her Italian period starting with Stromboli was actually good but the films aren't available on DVD in the US so I'll never know .

Ingrid was an actress whose mere presence makes the film instantly watchable, even it it's terrible. Her radiance and subtlety makes any film worth watching and a well-spent trip.

I was born when she kissed me
I died when she left me
I lived a few weeks while she loved me

Yes classicmoviefan01, she was her usual excellent self in DR. JEKYLL & MR. HYDE.

Notoriuos-nothing comes close to Notorious, not even today's modern movies. Ingrid manages to be be both sad and vulnerable and confused, while at the same time wildly in love. This is one of my personel favorites. I stongly recomend it.

I was the shyest human ever invented, but I had a lion inside me that wouldn't shut up.

I totally agree with your post titanicsurvivor93:D!

That's why Im so happy that NOTORIOUS is being re-released on dvd. Now, a few friends and co-workers can purchase it, at a decent price.

I do not understand why everyone on this board likes Notorious so much.
Casablanca is ten times better. (Just my opinion)
