This Movie Club will allow three things to happen:
-people will be able to watch the same movie at the same time and interact here
-people will be able to have common movies to watch over the weekend and share reviews on my other weekly thread.   
-people will be able to create the most awesomest and kickass podcast:

I’ll vote for Ready Player One for Friday because: -
1. It’s one of my favourite recent films.
2. I only just watched it with the family, so it’s fresh in my mind.
3. It’s half term this week and I’m away for a few days, meaning I’ve got less time to watch 3 films and I could skip this one and still make a worthwhile contribution.

I am not participating in the event, but Vacancy (2007) is a great choice.
Above the law and Mortal kombat even better.

But I think you need at least one bad film.

BTW, there are two movies named The Revenant from 2009.

I rewtched ready player one a month/a couple months ago...

I guess i can do something secondary while we are watching it as i can recall it pretty well

I'm not all that crazy about Ready Player One, but I think it should serve up some engaging discussion.

For Saturday, maybe mix it up with one of the selections plus something a bit lighter? Cop Car and National Security or Revenant seem thematically linked.

You are going to be sooooooo disappointed. Unfortunately, it’s not the excellent Di Caprio film with the Empire Strikes Back homage and instead something from 2009 (I will say no more).

Cop Car and Vacancy are really good thrillers. I’ll check out Ready Player One too, I never saw it.

*eta: I didn’t read the whole thread, I’ll watch whatever. The Revenant is very cool, whatever you all decide I’m in👍
