Delta plane from Minneapolis crashes at Toronto Airport. Flips upside down.

Surprisingly no fatalities! Seems to be many aviation disasters lately. What gives?

This was 10 minutes away from my house and I didn't even know about it until hours later.

What a legend for guiding them to safety in such harsh conditions.

He's no Denzel Washington in Flight.

It's logic and we'll see much more of that throughout the western world in the near future.
Ever harder competition in the market makes companies cut corners, trying to save expenses wherever possible.
Not only squeezing wages down, but also buying new planes as cheap as possible and cutting time and work for maintenance as short as possible.
What could possibly come out of that, other than increasing accidents whenever any company cuts expenses just a little bit too much and/or on the wrong end?

Boeing has all the 737-9 MAX with a plug door grounded, because they've cut just too many corners in the construction of it and Boeing isn't the only company doing things like that.
