Fucking unreal!! When I was in the U.S Navy back in the 90's, I was stationed onboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt CVN 71 and I was up in an area of the Carrier known as Vultures Row at the very top watching jets come in for a landing and I too witnessed a pilot attempt to come in for a landing, missed the airstrip, then went out, straight up, ejected and plunged the jet into the ocean and then had to go to the Admiral over it and was discharged for destroying their $30 Million Jet
