Madison Square Garden in NYC opened the first artificial skating rink in America in 1879!

Fun facts:

The ice requires about 10,000 gallons of water.

The Zamboni uses about 660 gallons of water per game.

The basketball hardwood can be removed and the ice revealed in two and a half hours.

I read about this, apparently a random mugging gone deadly.

What a stupid waste, we need to get really diabolical with these killers so as to send a serious message.

If we execute a bunch maybe the dirtbags will take notice and leave it as armed robbery and run away. Armed robbery is a hell of a lot less than execution.
