This Day In History #1:
Pop icon and golden-voiced Whitney Houston succumbed to cocaine overdose and accidental drowning in a bathtub at age 48.
Terrible situation. I somewhat blame Bobby Brown to this day,

I normally find a lot of upbeat, positive music to be annoying but she was an exception. Absolutely beautiful in her prime as well.
That was definitely a tragedy.
Yes, an angel in both voice and appearance.
The drug angle was terribly sad to hear. She was a church girl!
I think Bobby Brown was not a positive presence in her life.
What a waste of talent and charisma owing to a bum and loser.
1990: In one of the biggest upsets in boxing history, Buster Douglas knocks out Mike Tyson.
shareNice one!
Rumor has it that Iron Mike was out partying with booze and showgirls all week (wouldn’t most of us be lol!) and he took Douglas for a total chump.
He got beat up real good and it was shameful. Boy, Tyson got his ass whooped!
NEVER let your guard down boys and girls, the next fucker might beat you unconscious in Tokyo!
I honestly don't think you can blame Brown. Yeah, he was probably a cad. But addicts have to take responsibility for their own drug abuse.

shareHouston was self-destructive before and after Bobby Brown. Unfortunately, Houston negatively affected the lives of her daughter and daughter's boyfriend who struggled with her death and mental health issues.
