Last night we watched Nightmare on Elm Street IV (1988) 🔪🔪🔪🔪

This time out my 10 year old daughter and I had a slight disagreement; She thought that this one was better than NOES III, whereas I thought that it wasn’t quite as good. (Daughter 8/10. Wifey 7/10. Me 6.5/10).

This is what we’ve seen with horror elements so far: -

Alien I and II (1979/86)
Annabelle (2014)

Dead Don’t Die (2019)
Dr Who (2005-)
Five Nights At Freddy’s (2023)

I'm with you on this one, but I'd go 5.5. Does you wife watch any with you?

reply

Yes, she watches quite a bit with us including all the NOES films.

reply

We demand Lady K ratings.

reply

As you wish.

reply

Your daughter has better taste than you.

reply

She does.

Personally, I hate parts 4 and 5 but I like Freddy's Dead. No. I do not think Freddy's Dead is as good as the first 3 or even as good as Freddy Vs. Jason. But I still find it more entertaining than parts 4 and 5. I hate they killed off all the remaining Dream Warriors in part 4 and I don't like Alice that much.

reply

So far for me it’s 1, 3, 4, 2.

reply

That would be my order as well. I would put New Nightmare in between 3 and 4....I think. The rest I thought weren't worth rating.
