Wish I could function off 4 hours of sleep

Have so much time for not just movies but also shows, music, walks etc. Like if I could sleep 1-5, 2-6 that’d be sweet!

reply

I wish I could just stay asleep. I wake up 3 or 4 times a night and it takes me forever to fall asleep.

reply

You could try taking some milk, blend it with a banana and some honey and drink that before you go to sleep

I used to use that to go to sleep long time ago - that combination is supposed to act like a natural sedative.

reply

This doesn't solve the getting up to urinate problem.

reply

Don't drink six hours before you go to bed and see what happens.

reply

That's called dehydration.

reply

Then try three hours or four hours.

You don't be having that type of issue at your age.

Rule out drinking habits, otherwise get your prostate/bladder checked out.

reply

I think waking up once or twice for an 8 hour time frame is normal.

reply

No, I don't believe it is. I'm older than you and I can sleep up to nine hours without having to piss.

Bladder cancer is no joke. Talk to your doctor.

Diabetes could also be an issue.

reply

This isn't a recent thing.

I might be pregnant.

reply

Well, don't let it slide.

You have to live long enough for me to convert you to Team Kirk.

reply

I wouldn't do that on an alternate universe.

reply

I am very patient.

Should you cack before me, I will assume you went out with this being the last image in your mind:

reply

Please don't talk about my cack.

reply

I'll leave that to Melton and Kowalski.

reply

A Sleep aid like Advil PM might help??

reply

I've tried Advil. No help. I don't trust other sleep aids because I have a minor heart problem and am scared it might do something.

reply

damn

reply

just lol

reply

I'm doing just that, only on different times. I don't even have fixed times, I go to bed when I feel tired, don't set any alarm and most times it takes 2-4 hours before I wake up by myself, most days sleeping two times is enough, even though the total sleep I get is well below 8 hours a day.
That's the advantage of being retired.

reply

Not me. I try to go to bed between 9:30pm to 10pm every night. On Mondays and Saturdays I have to wake up at 5:30am to get to work. But the other days of the week even on my days off I wake up at 6:30am. Except today when I forgot to turn on my alarm last night and woke up at 7am. I am off today though so it doesn't matter. I usually work 8am to 4:30pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
