One of my favourites from last year.

My 10 year old daughter said that it needed to be scarier. (Daughter 7/10. Me 8/10).

I agree with your daughter. She's very wise. I liked the film, but it could have done with a bit more scariness.

Did anyone recommend "Ready or Not" (2019)? I checked the list in the link and didn't see it, but maybe I missed it. Anyway, it's similar to "Abigail" as it takes place in one big mansion.

WE WATCHED THAT RECENTLY OVER HERE....SOLID FLICK...HAS A SIMILAR FEEL TO ABIGAIL FOR SURE...MINUS THE VAMPIRES.

I would've probably enjoyed it more IF they didn't spoil the "twist" of who/what Abigail was in the damn trailer.

My lil sister enjoyed it way more than I did. Mostly cause she had no idea what the movie was about beforehand.
