Confession time: I was asked to leave a shopping mall for loitering too much.

Okay, I've decided to spice up the forum with a confession of something I did more than a decade ago.

I was basically asked to leave a shopping mall because I was staying too long at one place. I told them my reason for staying at the mall was to check out women. They said that was creepy and said this was not a bar. They took my picture and then escorted me out of the mall.

I'll just say I've learned my lesson since then and I don't do that anymore.

Hello.

Hey not saying you are lying or anything - but your story doesn't make sense to me.

Checking out women? Yeah, ok I hear you. It's exactly what you are going to do at 25. One problem, you're doing it in a mall? At 25? Seems like a High School activity to me. IN fact, I can recall hanging out in malls trying to get girls - at 16 or 17. By 25, for me anyway, it was all about going to clubs and dancing and partying.

The other thing is, even at 16 or 17, I'd have had the sense to not stay in one place for hours at a time inside of a mall. It would obviously not look right. At 25, as a fully fledged adult, ten minutes would have been enough.

ANyway, not saying you are lying. Pretty sure I've spoken to you before, recall you're an all right dude.

But, again, your story doesn't makes sense to me. No offense.

Yeah, you're right for feeling that way about my story. I was kinda stupid and didn't do stuff that made sense at that age. I guess I can say that I'm kinda slow to develop compared to others - a late bloomer, perhaps?

reply

Well, so they say....

Better late than never.

Ok brother, nice chatting with you.

Best wishes

I've had a couple of years in high school where I had 2 or 3 times a week a couple of hours in between classes, not enough to go home, but too long to stay in school.
I always went to the mall nearby walking through the shops looking at everything just to pass the time, but I never bought anything, as a student I din't have much money.
Twice some security guard suspected I was stealing, took me to their office, made me empty my pockets, then apologized because I hadn't stolen anything and let me go.
From then on I saw that guy frequently following me on my round through the shop, but he never stopped me again and I was never kicked out of the mall.
Not sure what he thought why I was there so often, but I had fun with it.

I guess it happens to everyone.

Maybe they thought you were scoping the place out to rob it?

Maybe?
