I think a misunderstanding cost me a job.

I went for a job interview. When I entered the office, the interviewer said "shit on the black chair", so I pulled down my pants and defecated on the black chair he was pointing at. He screamed, saying "what the fuck are you doing", "get the fuck out of my office", etc. I was so confused, I did exactly what he asked me to do. Later, I found out he has a palatal lisp, which causes him to pronounce the "s" sound like "sh". So he must've meant to say "SIT on the black chair". If that's the case, I feel kinda bad, but I also feel he overreacted, it was a genuine misunderstanding. What if he tells other people not to hire me? Should I call him to apologise?

I'd never do a joke this long and claim that the story is real.

I didn't think so. But the OP has one post so he's obviously hiding his identity. Maybe it's Kowalski.
