The Dolphins will be the designated "home" team at Real Madrid 's venue, which features a soccer pitch that retracts to make way for a field that can be used for American football. It has a capacity of just over 78,000.

Is Miami Dolphins a good team?

They're above average, nowadays, but so is everyone else, there's a lot of parity in the NFL now. They're the only NFL team to go undefeated. Every year sports shows always make a big deal when the last undefeated team loses, and they show the last surviving members of that 1972 team in some bar somewhere breaking out champagne.

Most people believe there will never be another undefeated NFL team, there are more games in the season, the rules are different, the player contracts are different, etc.

Tom Brady and the New England (Boston) Patriots almost went undefeated about 10 years ago, but they lost to the New York Giants in the Super Bowl. But again, they actually won more games straight in that season than the 1972 Dolphins did.

Probably the most famous Dolphin is Dan Marino, crushed all the records for Quarterbacks at the time. I think he had a cameo in "Ace Ventura, Pet Detective..."

Ok, thank you for the info.

The Dolphins today have a wide receiver that's the fastest player in the league, Tyreek Hill, but apparently there's a guy on the Dallas Cowboys that beat Hill's speed, "Kavontae Turpin" who clocked 22.36 miles per hour... I don't know if that's just counting the 2024 season or all of Hill's games going back... 8? 9? years...

The fastest speed recorded in an NFL game was a Running Back for San Francisco 49ers, "Raheem Mostert" who clocked 23.09 miles per hour in 2020.

To be as fair as possible, before I get slammed by Patriot haters, that Dolphins team won 16 games straight without a bye week. Patriots got 2 bye weeks before they played their 17th game.

Depending on who's the opponent the international games can be fun. I watched the Chiefs play the Dolphins a year ago in Germany and it was a fun game. It aired at either 7 or 8am and had breakfast while I watched football. It was fun to do something different outside of the normal routine of watching football on Sunday Afternoons.

I'm a life long Dolphins fan but as long as Stephen Ross owns the team we will continue to make bad drafting/coaching decisions resulting in disappointing seasons.
