Last year for my birthday my nephew bought me a DVD of his early career shorts. Some of the most insane stuff I've ever watch.

He was very strange and unique.

His death is a true loss.

He began smoking when he was just eight-years-old. The good old times.

But exceeded the average age for a man.

This one hurts. Mulholland Dr. is a top ten for me, and every thing he did I liked a lot at the least. RIP legend.

Coincidentally, I just watched The Grey Fox (1982) for the first time three days ago, and there was a scene where Richard Farnsworth mentions he's traveling on foot a long distance to see his sick brother. Made me think of The Straight Story.

He had the best hair, too:
