We have taken down the Christmas tree today

Christmas is over now at home.

reply

I always take my tree down on Jan 1st.

reply

That would be a little bit "radical" for us 😉

reply

It makes perfect sense to take the tree down on January 5 because it is the 12th (and final) day of Christmas.

reply

Well, to be honest, the real reason has been that yesterday was Sunday, during this week we are going back to work, and also because the Christmas tree was not "fresh" anymore.

reply

I’ve got only just returned from holiday, so it’s still up. Plus I have to play the annual game of ‘how long can I get away with it before the wife makes me take it down’, lol.

reply

Leave it up til May 🎄

reply

You already have February 01 in the sweepstake.

reply

I think I said the 14th of February in your case.

reply

I have you down for February 16th - good luck!

reply

If it is not February 16th you will be r.....d!

reply

I’ll do my best 🎄

We boxed up and packed away the Christmas stuff on Thursday. I love the Christmas decor but it can be depressing too far into January.

I’m not sorry to not hear Christmas music for the next eleven months!

reply

Ok, but the 5th of January is not "too far into J."
Not on the radio, but you can hear Christmas music every time you wish. In the same way, you can watch "home alone" anytime 😉.

reply

I'll take mine down next weekend - that's about usual for me.

reply

A bonus week for 102000!

reply

Mines still up, mainly because my cat Rose likes it. It's only 2 feet tall and already came with lights. I'll eventually just unplug it and put it away

reply

Does it mean that Rose plays with it or that she is fascinated by the lights?

reply

Fascinated by the lights
