Affleck for The Town.
It’s a particularly good crime drama.

Tough guys, fast cars, violent heists. Directors and writers should just skip the boring marriage and kiddie stuff in otherwise great robbery movies. Who cares about the wife and kids if you don’t?!?

The romance is secondary and quite frankly very boring.

I’d put it up there with To Live And Die In L.A. or Heat, both of which were super-charged crime movies marred by boring romantic entanglements.

Again, can we leave boring kid and wife stuff out of cool heist movies?

Who gives a shit about any of that?

To live & die in LA was a classic. That car chase scene was off the charts. Defoe was so cool back then.

I love Defoe!

Talking about that car chase can you imagine the logistics involved with the stunts and shutting down
The L.A. Freeway all afternoon?

Seriously, if I was driving home from work this shit would have totally pissed me off!

It was a super cool scene though👍

Affleck's first 3 movies are extremely solid. I'm still shocked how an actor like him was able to pull off such a run.

Affleck by a mile. I did watch George Clooney in a European Porn action Thriller Drama titled "The AMERICAN" and boy, the nudity was full frontal and very open about it

Clooney started off strong with the first two, bounced back on his fourth, but completely falls apart after that.
