Movie like Resident Evil?

Hi there! I'm looking for a movie similar to the Resident Evil series. I really enjoy its visual style and the way the story develops. My personal favorite in the series is Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004). I also love Resident Evil video games in fact, my love for games led me to become a video game designer. I also spend a lot of time on Twitch, where I follow DiceGirl Egle, an expert slot streamer. I’m always on the lookout for science fiction, horror thrillers, and action movies with a similar vibe, so any recommendations would be much appreciated. Thank you very much! ;)

You might enjoy Doomsday (08) starring Rhona Mitra and Bob Hoskins.
It seems like it could have been based on a video game but I'm not a gamer guy so that's just a hunch. It has lots of action, a heroic lead and plenty of grossout horror elements.
