This Movie Club will allow three things to happen:
-people will be able to watch the same movie at the same time and interact here
-people will be able to have common movies to watch over the weekend and share reviews on my other weekly thread.   
-people will be able to create the most awesomest and kickass podcast

Wow, that looks right down my alley. I really want to see it now. It’s on Prime in the US but unavailable here in Canada… Whyyyyy!?!?!

Although, by experience, subtitled movies were never a great hit with the club as it becomes very hard to pay attention to the movie, read the subtitles and chat here at the same time.

I’m not saying there won’t be any in the future though.

I just watched it today. I like it a lot. It's not perfect but it is a real ride. Same Director as the Last Circus.

I'd replace it with... honestly anything - Alone in the Dark (2005), even.

I had Coraline a 10/10 on first watch.

Saw it again with my son a few weeks ago and had to bring my rating down to 9/10 but yeah, a favourite of mine too, for sure.

I don’t feel like seeing it a third time in the near future though. I’m afraid it will lose its magic on me.

I will say that changing the movie this late in the game is unfair...but I will try to watch it as I had seen all that you had previously listed but I haven't seen paranorman and don't really have time to watch it.

I was talking about that with my partner today as it's like the 4th movie I've watched recently where they are watching it....and I was laughing how things will change when other horror movies hit the public domain.

Night of the Living Dead is technically public domain, last I checked. Hooray for technicalities! :-D

That's what I mean....it's one of the few which is in the public domain which is why it's the one that is almost always on tv in other horror movies.

I wasn’t aware ssllssslsg and Allaby had already watched Diary of the dead and I feel bad about switching it so I will watch it on my own time Saturday. If you can find the time to watch it to, that’s cool. Otherwise, we’ll just touch on it briefly during the podcast which will have 3 movies.

Not the end of the world.
