I like The Chase. I’m into trivia and it’s a fun format.
I don’t know if I’d call the Masked Singer a game show though, that’s more a singing competition to my mind. I’m a bit over singing or talent competitions really, but the reveals can be fun, I guess.
That said I’d prefer to watch a talent show over those brain-dead dating shows like The Bachelor or Married at First Sight or Love Island. Any show that treats relationships and human connections as glib voyeurism, or has a gaggle of bimbos fighting each other for the affections of some Ken-doll airhead really piss me off.

I like the cooking shows but I consider them competitions, not game shows.
I like cooking shows too. I love cooking and have picked up many tips from MasterChef. I also like Kitchen Nightmares, even if that’s less about cooking and more about Ramsay going ballistic at those hapless restaurateurs.
What’s your favourite cooking show?
Maybe a tie between MasterChef and Hell's Kitchen (though to tell the truth I haven't been keeping up with them lately). Also Chopped and early Rachael Ray (lost interest after original run of 30 minute meals, 2001-2012). I remember liking Sara Moulton and of course Emeril. And I do have a soft spot for Martha Stewart.
