Tonight we watched Shaun of the Dead (2004).

My 10 year old daughter found it funny.

This is what we’ve seen with horror elements so far: -

Addams Family I and II (1991/93)
Alien (1979)
The Amazing Mr Blunden (1972)
Babysitter I and II (2017/22)
Beetlejuice (1988)
Dr Who (2005-)
Five Nights At Freddy’s (2023)
Fright Night (2011)
Gremlins I and II (1984/90)
The Haunting (1999)
Hocus Pocus I and II (1993/2022)
I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997)
It I and II (2017/19)
The Lost Boys (1987)
M3GAN (2022)
Prey (2022)
Shaun of the Dead (2004)
Stranger Things (2016-)
Wednesday (2022-)
The Thing (1982)

Thanks to everyone for all the suggestions. We will wade through them as best we can: -

Wore my Winchester Tavern t-shirt just the other day. Hope you found it funny too.

reply

I haven’t seen it since it came out; it was definitely worth a rewatch 👍

AWESOME...RIGHT BEHIND YOU,BUDDY.

So many great scenes.

reply

Great movie, I loved the entire trilogy but Shaun is by far the most memorable. Funny that I don’t think I had ever heard of Pegg and Frost before these hilarious movies. GREAT chemistry together!

reply

I hadn't. I did make the effort of finding Spaced after seeing SotD, though. Also very funny.

reply

I also have a "Robot Club TFU" t-shirt...

reply

I love Spaced and saw it when it first came out. If you like this, then may I humbly suggest Black Books (only 18 episodes). You’ll recognise the principle actors.

reply

I WILL BE WATCHING BLACK BOOKS ...THANKS FOR SUGGESTING IT.

reply

It’s dark, self depreciating humour.

reply

That one holds up pretty well. I watched it with my teenaged nephew and he loved it.

reply

It’s a great fun ride.

reply

Hope you will pass along some of her observations tomorrow night for the podcast 😁

reply

Absolutely 👍
