Missing something in plain sight

On my way into work today, there were some sheep on leads in the town with their handlers.
I told my colleague about it when I got in. When she left she sent me a photo of what was actually going on - had 2 local celebrities there (for the Brits, Lenny Henry and Alison Hammond). I completely missed them lol. All I saw was sheep😄.

Have you ever missed something blindingly obvious?

reply

I miss things at stores right in front of me all the time - does that count?

Last one was some books that were right in front of me that my better half had to point out to me.

I guess I'm too busy looking at the forest.

Oh yeah, same. Or trying to find your keys.

reply

Always putting them in the same spot everyday helps.

I'd probably be the same. No offence to either Lenny or Alison, but it'd probably take a higher calibre of celebrity to distract me from the important thing: sheep on a lead, sheep on a lead....

There sheep were cuter 🤭

This happened to me when I was commenting about a movie here. I didn't notice the book in this still frame at first.

How have you got minus posts? How does that occur?

He’s an I.T. magician 🪄

Went to buy bread the other day & was like "Where are the scones" to the bakery worker & a lady was like, "You're looking at them".

I was literally staring at them & managed to miss them. Felt so dumb. Dumb & blind. 😆
