An entertaining listen. Good job editing and putting it all together, sslssg. Lots of funny, insightful, and entertaining comments from the usual gang of rascals.
Make the arrangements, sir.
I will not discuss politics or reveal private info. But Iโll talk about whatever you want, otherwise, especially โWelcome to Mooseportโ (2004).
Miss S has reliably informed me that the podcast recording will kick off at 5.45am GMT, so Iโll wake up early, have a coffee and join you guys then ๐ค
ET is -5 hours GMT, PT is -8 hours GMT. What time approximately do you think youโll begin and Iโll set my alarm accordingly, lol.
Unfortunately, I am unable to access any of the films listed for this weekend in the UK. Iโve tried Tubi, Sky, Netflix, Paramount+, I even tried Disney+, all to no avail โน๏ธ
Ironically, Iโve seen all the films featured in the previous podcasts.
Is it worth me attending - I donโt want to take valuable air time away from those that have actually seen the films to be discussed. Let me know what you think.
I think it is worth you attending, even if you haven't seen the films. Perhaps you can weigh in with comments about the director or actors or themes/plots of the films or similar type of films.
Dark Night of the Scarecrow should end at around 12:35 am Eastern, which I believe would be 5:35 GMT time and we start recording shortly after that. So if you are able to wake up by 5:30 am GMT and then you can join the zoom.
Excellent! Iโll set my alarm for 4.55am, which is only 1 hour earlier than normal for me, which will give me time to do my ablutions and have a coffee โ๏ธ
Okay....so Dark Night is an hour and 36 minutes, plus ads on Tubi. So that will be about 12:45 am eastern time that we finish.
I will leave it in your court if you want to join us for movies you haven't seen. Even if you haven't seen these movies, I'm sure you've seen other 80s horror movies and can contribute to the discussion for sure. Not everyone watches the movies and that doesn't stop us. :)
1. Your introduction to American Hero was so good that Iโm thinking about watching it. I could really feel how much the movie impacted you.
2. After your podcast, I watched a few scenes from Little Monsters, and it definitely has a sexual molestation undertone. There's no doubt that itโs intentional. For example, this is one of the grossest scenes Iโve ever seen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8UUULDFVSE
Just finished listening to it. Again, great job on the editing, and everyone had interesting points of views. So happy I was able to share my birthday movie with yalls.
