Words F.R David...I was watching a youtube top 50 one hit wonders of the 80s and this song was #24...never heard it before.

Yes, it was a huge hit in Europe and Australia (Chart Rundown Andy).

No, I like 80s synth-pop but am not familiar with this. As AndyKing said, it went to #1 in a number of European countries, but only charted at #62 in the US. I think it is a pleasant enough song but nothing special, a bit simple.
