How would you rate this song on scale of 1-10?

8/10. Fun fact: this song was originally supposed to be the song played during the pawn shop redneck rape scene in "Pulp Fiction". Creepy. https://youtu.be/BR2JtsVumFA?si=sbeUgr0MoGOOpgYa

A knackered 7/10

This band has to be the biggest bust ever. I was 20 when the song was released, and the hype surrounding this band was so overdone, with comparisons to The Beatles. One-hit wonder is more like it.

Yep, terrific track.

I believe I posted it a few days ago, yeah - in the - I think it was called "Songs with girls names in title" thread.

Really good rocknroll track from the late 70s

Incidentally, The Knack, surprisingly, turned out to be one hit wonders.

It's a fascinating song. 1979 was a good year for music.

I like it more in principle than in practice. It's no Teenage Kicks. 6/10. Listenable and hummable but not really interesting.

6/10. Too pop. I imagine it was an attempt at New Wave but not very innovative.
