INSOMNIA IS A BITCH...MOST NIGHTS I STRUGGLE TO SLEEP AT ALL SOME NIGHTS IF I AM LUCKY I GET 3 OR 4 HOURS...BUT IT'S ALWAYS A STRUGGLE...I RARELY F EVEN HAVE TIME FOR TRYING TO NAP DURING THE DAY...SO I END UP A WALKING ZOMBIE MOST OF THE TIME...SEEMS LIKE ABOUT ONCE EVERY COUPLE WEEKS UNDER THE PERFECT CIRCUMSTANCES I CRASH FOR 10 TO 12 HOURS AND THEN IT'S BACK TO THE INSOMNIAC'S BALL.
I do not know if you drink a lot of soda or coffee, but maybe this is a reason. Fourlemons has already mentioned it below, not to much media before going to sleep, and, if possible, about 19 C degree in your room.
In my case, reading a book (even if it is a very good one) is very often the road to the dreamland.
i'll just add to this. from my understanding most people have an underlying condition that is causing the "Secondary Insomnia". could be sleep apnea, or many other things. depression, anxiety, diet/substances, high blood pressure, etc
for my sister is was migraines causing insomnia. once she got the migraines under control the insomnia disappeared.
agreed, the last 2 times i went to the doctors, i needed surgery. i knew i was bad.
probably a good idea to get a check up/blood test every once in a while though, if we werent so blockheaded.
My main problem.with that show is the lighting and the focus of the camera, it gives me a headache. So I close my eyes and just listen, then fall asleep lol.
Iβm sorry to hear this man. Thatβs an agonizing problem. I donβt sleep great; maybe 6 hours a night which is at least something. Iβve been looking into meditation but I donβt think I have the discipline.
One of my exes struggles with it. What helps is having some sort of wind-down routine - shower, no late night eating, and some white noise can go a long way towards relaxation.
I BET A SHOWER WOULD BE A NICE ADDITION TO BEDTIME....ENERGY FOR SHOWERING IS ANOTHER STORY...USUALLY I JUST STRIP DOWN AND LET THE CATS DO THE DIRTY WORK.
