π₯ StoneKeeper's Movie Guessing Game: I recommend THIS movie #2412 [VinceD surfs up with BIG WEDNESDAY]
It's been a hot minute since the last round, but with the Labor Day vibes I thought it as good a time as any to make some waves.
I have a movie in mind and you have to guess which one it is. For each movie you guess, I will give a hint that connects your guess with the movie I have in mind.
For each guess, a connection is posted. Examples of connections: Actor, length, genre, aspect ratio, language, country, year, director, actor, writer in common, rating, number of votes. It can even be something like: both movies involve Cabbage Patch Kids. Also, you can use Metascore color or rating, Rotten Tomatoes score, any award wins or nominations in common, same number of words in the title, plot keywords. Note: "Plot" in the IMDB advanced search links to "Plot Summary" on the film's page. "Keyword" in the advanced search links to "Plot Keyword" on the film's page.

- The winner can either start a new game or say "pass". In case of a pass, the OP gets to start another one.
- After 12 hints and 15 incorrect guesses the point goes to the OP and he/she gets to start another one.
- Movie must have at least 3500 IMDB votes. Otherwise, add a bonus hint. No documentaries.
- Maximum 2 guesses per player per hint.
- Can't edit a guess once posted. Delete ONLY

Hint 2: Jaws 2 (1978) - Same year!
Hint 3: The Deer Hunter (1978) - Director has writing credit.
Hint 4: Convoy 1978 - Drama.
Hint 5: Game of Death (1978) - Lead actor is deceased.
Hint 6: Days of Heaven (1978) - IMDB user rating 7.0 or higher.
Hint 7: Autumn Sonata (1978) - MPA rated PG.
Hint 8: Blue Collar (1978) - Two word title.
Rolling in with the evening tide is VinceD with Big Wednesday (1978), a very obervant slice of life set in '60s/'70s SoCal surfer culture starring Jan-Michael Vincent, Gary Busey, and a host of other distinguished ensemble actors. It's a bit similar to same year's The Deer Hunter in its cultural touchstones, yet obviously plays it a lot lighter. John Milius shoots the key beach scenes with an almost religious intensity. What a beautiful film!
