September, it is my fave month. To me it is the real start to the New Year, not Jan 1...A new school year, a new television season (though that is not as big a deal as it used to be), just an overall feeling of new.
The worst of the summer heat is over, and by mid September, that smell of Autumn in the air. More accurately I would say my fave month is mid-September through mid-October.

I'd be better with the "bers" if the Romans hadn't messed with the calendar. They have always irritated me, and although I can do nothing about it, they will irritate me forever more.
